Troy McQuagge joined the Fort Worth, Texas based USHEALTH Group, Inc. in 2010. He began improving the company by first making a series of changes leading to the revitalization of USHEALTH Advisors, the company’s captive distribution agency. Born in Panama City, Florida, Troy McQuagge is a University of Central Florida graduate. After getting his bachelor’s degree in 1983, McQuagge was hired by Allstate Insurance the same year. An extraordinary salesman, he remained with the company until 1995 when he joined UICI/Health Market. McQuagge performed exceptionally well and showed a natural flair for leadership. Two years later, United Insurance Company’s Agency, UGA hired Troy McQuagge as president. Investors bought the company in 2006 and changed the name to the Health Market Group. McQuagge took over the sales and marketing departments and improved the company’s profitability and recognition. While he was Health Markets’ president, the company exceeded $1 billion in sales every year. Health Markets also won Sales Organization of the Year at the Stevie Awards and from Selling Power Magazine. Troy McQuagge left Health Markets and took over at USHEALTH in 2010.
